The white elephant
This cabinet was rescued from the Missionary Fathers in NJ. It was painted white high gloss enamel, and was not a pretty site. When I first started looking at it I just wanted to get the gloss off. When I realized what was under it I spent allot of time striping the paint and digging out the white from all those little groves with a dental tool. The result was spectacular.
The multiple grains and walnut inlay really set the piece off. I replace the warped top with marble and added a little brass to highlight it. Liquor not included. ~ Jay, Artisan and CBO
